Why do I need to confirm separately in SAB's app?

Unlike some banks where installments are activated instantly at checkout, SAB AQSAT requires the customer to confirm the plan through SAB's own banking channels (SAB Mobile or SAB Online). This is SAB's standard process — Amwal initiates the request, but the activation requires your confirmation with the bank within 15 days of the purchase.

What is the Tawarruq fee and how much is it?

The Tawarruq fee is a one-time nominal charge applied at the time of converting your purchase to AQSAT. For a 5,000 SAR purchase: 3-month plan = 56.35 SAR, 6-month = 113.85 SAR, 12-month = 228.85 SAR. The 24-month plan has no Tawarruq fee, but instead carries a 12% annual profit rate.

What is the minimum amount I can convert to AQSAT?

The minimum is 500 SAR for 3 and 6-month plans. For 12-month plans the minimum is 2,000 SAR, and for 24-month plans the minimum is 5,000 SAR. The maximum is up to 95% of your available credit limit.

When should I request the AQSAT conversion?

You should request the conversion at least 5 days after the transaction date (to allow it to post) and no later than 15 days from the transaction date. Amwal prompts you at checkout, and you confirm via SAB Mobile or SAB Online.
